    Dear David,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Please note that the areas of development, for KGV Playing Fields, within this project plan are intended for community use and open to all.

Plans for the football field adjacent to Guisborough Town FC are not related to this project, therefore we are unable to comment.

    Thank you.

    Best wishes,
    Guisborough Levelling Up Project Team

    Dear Joanna,

    Thank you for your question.

We are currently delivering public engagement sessions and collating survey responses before moving onto final designs and procuring a contractor to deliver works. We anticipate that the project will be completed by December 2025. Please check the website for further updates on timescales in the meantime. Thank you.

    Best wishes,

  • Share As mentioned, a trim trail would be extremely beneficial. As will the BMX track, stake park and the play areas. More dog waste bins to encourage dog owners to use would be helpful. Also why are the public potentially losing a huge area of the field to Guisborough Town FC? So the club can use this area of land for a profit making business. It is pubic land. on Facebook Share As mentioned, a trim trail would be extremely beneficial. As will the BMX track, stake park and the play areas. Dear Rory,

Thank you for your comments. We would encourage you to also share these on our newly released online survey that you can access by clicking the following link: King George V Playing Fields Survey (September 2024) | YourVoiceMatters (engagementhq.com).

We are unable to comment on Guisborough Town FC’s intention regarding the adjacent football pitch to their stadium, as it is not within scope of KGV Playing Fields plans.

    Thank you.

  • Share I think we should fund for a public, free Astroturf where people can just show up and have fun, we already have a playing field but the goals have no nets and the grass isn’t cut regularly so I think an Astroturf would be a great, long term addition to Guisborough as it wouldn’t need much assistance. on Facebook Share I think we should fund for a public, free Astroturf where people can just show up and have fun, we already have a playing field but the goals have no nets and the grass isn’t cut regularly so I think an Astroturf would be a great, long term addition to Guisborough as it wouldn’t need much assistance. on Twitter Share I think we should fund for a public, free Astroturf where people can just show up and have fun, we already have a playing field but the goals have no nets and the grass isn’t cut regularly so I think an Astroturf would be a great, long term addition to Guisborough as it wouldn’t need much assistance. on Linkedin Email I think we should fund for a public, free Astroturf where people can just show up and have fun, we already have a playing field but the goals have no nets and the grass isn’t cut regularly so I think an Astroturf would be a great, long term addition to Guisborough as it wouldn’t need much assistance. link
