Town Centre Works Begin Early 2025

We would like to inform residents, visitors and businesses that the programme of works for the Town Centre Transformation has been finalised, with works to start on the Town Centre in the new year, so as to remove any unwanted disruption over the Christmas period.

With the first phase of demolition now complete at the M&S and Goodwins site, we have been able undertake additional site investigations on the condition of the surrounding walls, structures and ground conditions. It has been identified that further works are needed, and could not be identified before the demolition of both buildings. Work continues in the background, with additional design work, licenses and Party Wall agreements being required. We aim to complete this work over the next couple of months.

In the interim, Robertson’s workforce has made significant progress at the Redcar Central Station Development which we will be updating you on in the coming weeks.
