Vegetation Clearance Works Starting Next Week – Guisborough Active Travel Project

Preparatory vegetation clearance for the Guisborough Active Travel Project will begin next week. These works are an important first step in creating safer and more accessible walking and cycling routes through the area. Residents may notice activity along sections of the planned route while teams carry out the clearance in a safe and controlled manner.

Some limited areas of hedgerow are to be removed on Stokesley Road and Hutton Lane starting 3rd March. This loss of limited hedgerow will be offset with new tree planting as part of the project.

All works have been scheduled to minimise disruption, and further updates will be shared as the project progresses.
