Chapel Beck Scheme Update

We’re pleased to share a current update on the Chapel Beck scheme - the project is temporarily paused while we await approval from the Environment Agency for the required watercourse permits.

This is an important step to ensure everything is carried out to the highest environmental standards and we have worked hard with our ecologist to develop detailed surveys and robust mitigation measures to protect the local wildlife and habitat.

In the meantime, we’ve made excellent progress by setting up a soft site complete with root protection for trees and other protective measures.

We’re very much looking forward to starting the main works as soon as we receive the EA’s approval, and we remain fully committed to delivering these important improvements for the community.
