Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council currently provides Telecare Services through our provider Beyond Housing. Telecare is an assistive technology that is put in place for people who need support to raise an alarm if they fall or are in distress due to frailty or a medical condition. Telecare services use various devices in your home to link to Beyond Housing’s call centre when activated. This could include falls sensors worn around your neck or on your wrist, or door, floor and bed sensors in your home. Each person may have a different number of sensors depending on their needs.
As part of our ongoing review of Telecare services we are reaching out to people who use Telecare and their family, friends or carers to gather first-hand views and experiences of using the service. This will help us shape future Telecare services. To help us do this we have created the following questionnaire. Your views will be kept anonymous and your details will not be shared anywhere outside of the Council so please do not hesitate to give your honest feedback and reflections on your telecare service, we would really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for your support.
