Consultation has concluded
Developed and delivered by the Business Engagement Team at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council this survey is open to businesses of every type and location across the borough. From sole traders, Community Interest Companies, and local retailers to multi-national industries – all are encouraged to contribute.
It is our intention to repeat this survey twice a year, each time the questions will be slightly different but overall we hope to gain a greater understanding of business sentiment in the following categories:
Business confidence – in the current local and wider economic climate
Plans for recruitment, job losses or consolidation
Ambitions for expansion/relocation
Insight into issues around skills and labour supply
Business commitment to climate change / net zero
Understanding of best routes to engagement including: marketing, events and networks
