Esplanade and High Street Construction Works Update: August 2023

As part of delivering the upcoming Culture and Leisure Anchor Attraction, planned phased works are scheduled to take place on the former M&S and Goodwins sites across Redcar High Street and the Esplanade in mid-August this year. Due to the nature of this work, diversions for pedestrians will be provided for approximately 12 weeks. Nearby businesses have been notified and will be open as usual and fully accessible for customers for the duration. Barriers and hoardings will be erected to limit access during this time; provisions are in place for alternate footpaths where appropriate.
